Most wrapping paper is made to be as cheap as possible. Ours is made to be wrapped with. Here is exactly what that means.
Roughly twice the weight of supermarket gift wrap. It creases sharply, holds a corner and will not show what is underneath.
A full three metres on every roll, measured, on a sturdy core. Around eight average presents.
No glitter, no foil, no laminate. Paper and vegetable inks only, so the whole lot goes in the recycling.
A cutting grid on every roll.
The back of each paper is printed with a faint 2.5cm grid. Follow a line and you get a straight cut every time, with no ruler and no wonky edge to hide under the fold.

Printed down the road
Every roll is printed by a family press in Nottingham, fifteen minutes from our studio in Sneinton Market. We see each run come off the machine, and short runs mean we never sit on a warehouse of paper nobody wants.
No copies. No knock-offs.
A lot of the cheap gift wrap sold online is somebody else’s artwork, scanned, stretched and reprinted without asking. You can usually tell by the blur.
Every one of our 24 designs was drawn for us by an independent British illustrator, and they earn a royalty on every single roll. When a pattern sells well, the person who drew it does well too. That is how it should work.
